RULE 27 should read ...Mower must retain original mower chassis used on that mower (strenghening original with 50x25 RHS or refab to the same specifications and appearance using the same quality materials used on that mower chassis (ie mild steel only) .... If this rule is not amended then the door will be left open for anyone to build any chassis & get away from the original concept of lawn mower racing.

Gavin will be having a bonfire at his house (opposite the track) on the Saturday night before the Berrigan race, it will be a great oppurtunity to get to know your fellow racers off the track, could you please let Gav know if you'll be going Thanks

For those looking for the Port Albert mower track. It's located at the old Port Albert horse track. It has a small entrance so keep your eyes out. You cannot see the track from the road, but will be sign posted. Have a safe trip!

I have a favour to ask of those heading to the Port Albert race next weekend.

Our illustrious photographer Di Huggins aka Mrs Grasshopper is unable to attend the race and has asked if I could organise someone to take photos for her. So for those of you going, could you please pack your camera and help out by taking some photos throughout the day it would be greatly appreciated by both of us. You can send your photos via email to or if you are a member of the website you can upload them directly to the album marked Port Albert October 2012.

Thanks In Advance. Looking forward to seeing some great photos from you.
